Meet Nikki
My professional training began with attending Pacifica Graduate Institute, graduating in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. While pursuing my studies, I completed a two-year internship at Beit T’Shuvah, a residential treatment center in Culver City, California, where I became passionate about working with young adults of various backgrounds.
After my Master’s program, I worked at the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic, empowering children and young adults of South and Central LA to reach goals in school, build healthy relationships, and enjoy emotional well-being. Here I developed my passion for offering support to teens and their families.
From there, I continued my work with teens at a high school in Los Angeles, Miguel Contreras Learning Complex School, working one-on-one with high school students struggling with depression, grief, anxiety and loss. I enjoyed facilitating group therapy sessions with the students to improve communication skills and improve self-esteem issues.
That brings me to my private practice located in West Los Angeles. In my practice, I work with emerging women as well as teens who are experiencing depression, stress, social anxieties, obsessive negative thoughts, and self-esteem issues. I also work with people who are looking to improve the quality of their relationships .
I truly believe your life and future are worth the work we will do together. My intention is to help you integrate the powerful insights that are already within you so you can chart a bright path forward.
My first priority is to create a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings and be just as you are. I bring with me an honest, caring, and “down to earth” energy and a passion for the work we get to do together.
In addition to my office setting, I also provide phone sessions and video-sessions when needed.
