Therapy
Women
Far too often, we suffer from limiting beliefs imposed from either our parents, teachers, peers, society, or culture. One of the remarkable benefits of counseling is the opportunity to conquer disempowering beliefs. Yes, you can change the negative self-talk that’s holding you back. I can help you look at the cracks in the current foundation of your beliefs and build a strong foundation that supports the life you want.
One focus of my practice is to help the feminine find its lost identity. Women are looking for new ways to voice their thoughts and feelings in their familial, business, intimate, and friendship circles. Together, we’ll find effective ways for you to express yourself, so that you can build stronger connections and healthier, more loving relationships.
Women in their 20s and 30 are truly emerging in their adult lives. I provide the compassion, support and insight to help you release unresolved feelings of inadequacy and help you grow from resentment, anxiety, depression, and other psychological blocks.
Teens
It is not uncommon for children to shut down, feel anxious, or suffer from depression in their teenage years. While most of us can remember the angst that accompanies adolescence, it doesn’t make it any easier to watch your beloved child suffer through their emotional upheaval.
Your teen is looking for a safe space to call their own. I have found that my youthful spirit and non-judgmental demeanor facilitate towards a meaningful connection with middle and high school aged clients. I provide proactive tools, a space for open expression, and insights that help bring positive change and relief for the teen – and his or her parents.
Relationship Counseling One-on-One (for men and women)
Are you struggling to feel understood in your relationship?
Perhaps you don’t quite know how you want to resolve those difficult bumps? Maybe you’re looking to find new ways to voice your thoughts, feelings, wants and desires? Or just simply wanting to feel differently in your relationship.
One of the biggest myths surrounding relationships is that change can only take place if both parties are in counseling together. The truth is, one of the most powerful ways to strengthen our relationships is through profound self-discovery.
The more self-aware we are as individuals, the more supportive we can be as partners. The closer we can get to understanding ourselves and our true desires, the more likely we are to build meaningful relationships.
I am passionate about working with young men and women who are navigating complicated feelings in relationships. My focus is helping them understand themselves, first and foremost. I offer an individually tailored approach to help you understand your internal belief systems, explore early childhood trauma, and develop the mind-body connection. We’ll focus on breaking out of negative loops and patterns, building a strong foundation, and evincing your truth so that you can make empowering changes.
This often translates into positive transformation in other areas of your life, especially your relationships.
